Why did I enroll in this class?

The reason I took this course is because my advisers recommend it. Beside my advisers recommending it I took this course because last semester I enrolled in writing 1. The class was nothing like I imaged it. I though it would be topics getting thrown at us, the students and we would have to write 4-10 pages about it. But it was nothing like that; we picked our own topics and did a great deal of free writing. I found the class to be very helpful and interesting at the same time. I also got a great deal of things off my mind. Now I enrolled in this writing class because I think it can better help me with my writing. I always wanted to write a book about my life because I thing I have a great story to tell but in order for me to do that I would have to expand my knowledge in writing. I want to learn thing that I haven’t learned yet. I love writing poems mostly about something I got on my mind. I know I’m far from being a writer but I think with a lot of help I can be a great writer. Most of my classes that I am enrolled in you have to write a mid-term paper. So this writing class can always help me in other class as well as things outside of school. To sum this up I just took the class because my adviser recommend it and I want to become a better writer.
